Players and officials of Adamawa United football club Yola , have.been attacked by gunmen while on their way to Lagos.
The robbery incidence occurred on Friday night, February 19 2021 at about 11.30 pm along Benin-Ore – Lagos express way.
The team were on their way to play against MFM Football club at Agege stadium for Week 11 fixtures of Nigeria Professional Football Federation. NPFF.
A source close to the team added that the coaster bus carrying the players was kidnapped and nothing has been heard about him from the gunmen at the time of filing this report.
