Justice Aisha Bawa Bwari confirmed, Chief Judge, Niger State

The Niger state House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Justice Aisha Lami Bawa Bwari as the Chief Judge of Niger state.
Justice Bawa Bwari was confirmed Chief Judge on Thursday after a unanimous decision of the assembly Members for her to take a bow.
In a motion raised by the Lawmaker representing Bosso constituency, Honourable Malik Madaki Bosso, said Justice Bawa Bwari has served the state successfully in various capacities , adding that she therefore deserved the honour of the Assembly to take a bow.
However, in a brief debate on the curriculum vitae of the Chief Judge, the Lawmaker representing Suleja, Mallam Iya Suleja expressed confidence that Justice Bawa Bwari will improve on the administration of criminal justice in the state.
The lawmaker advised the Chief Judge to give priority to upgrading the decayed infrastructure of the judiciary, adding that, I urge you to pay attention towards improving on the existing structures of courts in the state some of which have decayed.
