Kogi Assembly adopts Motion Compelling Governor Bello to vie for presidency.

The Kogi State House of Assembly has passed a motion of urgent important compelling Gov. Yahaya Bello to contest for the office of the President or Vice President of the Country.
The House in its plenary described Gov. Yahaya Bello as fit for the office in view of his outstanding performances as Governor and in view of the fact that the North Central Zone has not produced President since 1960.
The Law makers noted that the North Central has been voting enmass for all the presidents of Nigeria and called on other geo political zones to allow Governor Bello to run for the highest office in the land come 2023.
The House in a unanimous motion urged for the office of the nation’s Presidency be zoned to the North Central Zone of Nigeria.
In a motion moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. Abdullahi Bello and supported by all the Members, said the North Central Zone has not had a shot at the Presidency, described Gov. Yahaya Bello as a right peg to lead the nation.
