MINNA, The Governor of Niger State Abubakar Sani Bello has reiterated his commitment to tackle insecurity in the state as he seeks stronger ties with the Nigerian Air Force ( NAF) in order to stem the tide of banditry, kidnapping and cattle rustling that have bedeviled the state.
Governor Sani Bello who stated this Tuesday in Minna, while playing host to the chief of Air Staff Abubakar Sadique assuring that the collaboration will provide relieves for the people of the State who have been subjected to series of security threats in the past months.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar who was in the State to see areas that need to be improved on with a view to mapping out strategies to tackle the security challenges bedeviling the State stated that his officers and men will work closely with the state to curb insecurity in the state.
It would be recalled that the Governor had similar meeting with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.General Tukur Yusuf Buratai to finding ways to tackle worsening security situation in the state.
